Well done to everyone who took their grading on Sunday, Master King praised the enthusiasm and effort put in especially with sparring.  This Autumn grading is only small following the summer holiday so congratulations to all students who worked hard to get ready.  The next grading will be on Thursday 15th December at 6pm.

OITF Report

9 competitors and 4 parents made the early morning journey to the Open ITF tournament and came away with 5 medals and a great deal of pride.  Ali Gowing gained superb silver medals in the pee wees, with Bronwen Back gaining a silver for sparring and a bronze for patterns in the junior girls with Henry Rush gaining a bronze in the adult males.

Oscar Glaysher, James Gowing, Jonty Gillett, James Thurston, Alex Goff and Christian Everett all competed superbly in huge devisions with some quarter final positions but unfortunately no medals.  After a very long day of solid refereeing Clinton Gillett had to withdraw and not compete so he could get everyone home safely.

We are very proud of everyone as this was a huge competition with 25 different associations and several different countries competing.
