A Big Congratulations to all Bungay & Beccles Taekwondo Students who passed their summer Grading at Bungay High School on 26th June 2016

GTUK Examiner Mr Steve King VI degree was very pleased with the progress of all students, and said that the standards were very high, he congratulated them on their 100% pass rate.

Young Bungay student Jed Baddour was awarded and A Pass for his Red Tag belt grading.

Beccles student Dean Harding was awarded an A Pass for his provisional Black Belt grading and has now achieved the status of Black Tag, his next grading will be in Coventry in front the GTUK’s Grand Master Oldham IX degree and Master Auciello VII degree.

The summer is a great time to start this family orientated sport, giving new members time to learn their 1st belt syllabus in readiness for the October grading, it takes 3-4 years to learn the full syllabus and become a 1st Degree Black Belt student.

If you would like to come and have a go the first session is always free, see our web sites for details of our training times and venues this summer:

Well done to all our Bungay Taekwondo students who attended the GTUK East 1st Quarter Grading held at Bungay 20th March.

100% pass!

As always the examination includes demonstrations of techniques including kicks, punches and blocks, patterns (sequences of moves), sparring, self-defence, power destruction and Korean technical language.

The Bungay and Beccles clubs are both centres for the local community with many parents training with their children. So if you would like to learn one of the Worlds best martial arts, come along to a free taster session which you can find further details on the clubs websites. The youngest students in the clubs are 5 years old and there is no upper age limit.
